Staff were very friendly, location was good. Lovely room with sea views and a four poster bed. Shower cubicle was modern and not a hand held shower which is common in Greece. Owners Taverna is located near by and serves excellent, good value food.

First of all the island of Karpathos is still not overrun with us the tourist in early June.In particular the village of Finiki is almost what the islands were in the early 70s ,quiet and unspoilt with tourist shops. A great place if you are looking for peace and quiet in a beatiful fishing village setting with a beach that is never packed making it ideal for a swim. The actual hotel is situated above the village about a 10 minute slow walk to the village. The views from the hotel is superb if you have an upper level room. The rooms are very spacious and great for self catering.Very clean and functional.Be warned that it is a steep climb from the village and then further more if you have a room on the upper levels, but a great way to work off the calories after a great seafood meal in the village. The village down the road is also great for an evening meal where the street is closed off to cars in the evening to allow the local community to get together .Finiki and the hotel is a great place to take walks from and explore the rest of the island if you have a vehicle ,recommended. My wife and I are a retired active couple and will definately be going back.Panagiotis and his wife Maria own the hotel and have a taverna in the village and are wonderful hosts who really make you feel at home.
Possibly a sun umbrella for the individual patios

Friendly place. Our apartment had lots of room and a nice view. Fairly quiet location above a fishing port. Good access to a choice of tavernas. Fresh fish landed in the harbour that morning. Great value. Could have stayed longer.
Kitchen needed some refurbishing. Toiletries not supplied.

Really appreciated the nice and helpful owner, who gave excellent suggestions about the area. Also loved the picturesque and quiet location, which was perfect for a peaceful escape from the city.
The quality of the rooms was not up to par. the bed was very uncomfortable, and the towels were old and scratchy.

We can really recommend Finiki View. We like the fisher's town Finiki a lot, small and beautiful with lots of good fish restaurants. There are plenty of beautiful beaches in the neighberhood if you have a car. The room was clean, large enough and had a balcony. Everything in and around the hotel was very well maintained - definitely very good for Greek standards! The staff was very friendly and helpful, they made our beds and provided us with fresh towels on a daily basis. We also enjoyed the breakfast in the restaurant down the harbour! We can only recommend this hotel

Finiki View Hotel is a fantastic place to rest and leave your busy life behind. We had a lovely, very spacious and functional apartment with an amazing sea view. The owners and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was equipped with everything we needed and ideal for self catering. It was cleaned every two days, used towels replaced with fresh ones. The swimming pool at the hotel with comfortable beds and umbrellas was a favourite place for spending time by our kid. The owners are people of great kindness and hospitality. They run a small tavern located 5 min walking distance from the hotel at a little beach, where they serve delicious food. We highly recommend this hotel for those who want to spend a wanderful vacation enjoining picturesque views and superb location in a place still untouched by mass tourism.

Finiki view was a great place and had a nice atmosphere. We had a traditional room with sea view and the view was fabulous. Rooms were okey and spacius. Finiki is a small place with a few very pleasant fish restaurants and a beach. A car needed.
It was okey

We had a very nice stay at this hotel the first week of October 2012. Not many guests there at the time; end of season, but still warm enough (maybe 25-30C and not below 20 during night). I travelled with my children age 8 and 10. The rooms were quite big, clean and had a small kitchen. Each room also have a nice view overlooking the sea and the sunset. The pool was clean and not too cold. The hotel owner also have a restaurant down at the sea, just next to the beach. We got very good prizes on every meal we ate there. Finiki is a very small and quiet place, but it still has 4-6 restaurants. There are no stores in Finiki, but it´s only a 20 minutes walk back to Arkasa, where you can by food and stuff. I really love Greece and have been there maybe 12-15 times, and this place.. Well, I think its on the top10 on my list of small idyllic greek places by the sea. I loved it!
